The history of the company began with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the establishment of JSC "Life Insurance Company "State Annuity Company" (hereinafter GAC) with one hundred percent state participation in the authorized capital.

Омбудсмен – лицо, назначаемое Советом директоров Общества, роль которого заключается в консультировании обратившихся к нему работников Общества и оказании содействия в разрешении трудовых споров, конфликтов, проблемных вопросов социально-трудового характера, а также в соблюдении принципов деловой этики работниками Общества.
Роль омбудсмена заключается в консультировании обратившихся к нему работников, участников трудовых споров, конфликта и оказании им содействия в выработке взаимоприемлемого, конструктивного и реализуемого решения с учетом соблюдения норм законодательства Республики Казахстан (в том числе, соблюдения конфиденциальности при необходимости), оказании содействия в решении проблемных социально-трудовых вопросов как работников, так и Общества.
Омбудсмен назначается из числа работников Общества решением Совета директоров и подлежит переизбранию каждые 2 (два) года. Совет директоров принимает решение о продлении либо прекращении полномочий Омбудсмена.
Советом директоров Общества от 29 января 2025 года принято решение о возложении должностных обязанностей Омбудсмена Общества на советника Председателя Правления Маканову Асель Куандыковну.

Risk management allows us to prevent the occurrence of risk events that affect the achievement of strategic and operational goals, and to limit their impact when they occur.
Risk management is a process that begins with the development of strategy and affects all activities of the organization. It is aimed at identifying potential events that may affect the Company's activities and managing the risks associated with these events.
The Company's risk management is carried out with the participation of the Board of Directors, the Management Board, the Internal Audit Service, structural units - risk owners, and the structural unit responsible for risk management. The Company's risk management system is based on the "Three Lines of Defense" model, which offers a balanced approach to determining the role and responsibility of all RMS participants: each employee bears joint responsibility for risk management within the framework of their functionality.
JSC "KSZH "GAK" integrated the risk management system (RMS) into key business processes. RMS is a key component of the corporate governance system aimed at timely identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of potential risks that may negatively affect the achievement of the Company's strategic and operational goals.
The Company has a vertical risk management process and a functioning risk management system at all management levels. Risks are assessed using qualitative and quantitative tools that take into account the probability of occurrence and the impact of the risk when it occurs.

The Company's risk management policy defines the terminology, scope, objectives, basic principles of the organization and functioning of the risk management system, the organizational structure of the risk management system, and is aimed at the timely identification, assessment and monitoring of all significant risks, as well as the adoption of timely and adequate measures to reduce the risk level.
Risk register - a summary table containing the following structured information about risks: name of risks, description of risks, risk owners, causes and factors of risk occurrence, description of possible consequences from realization of risks, risk management measures, risk assessment;
Risk map - a description of risks presented in the form of a graphic image in which risks are arranged sequentially depending on their level.
The company pays great attention to the development of a risk culture by involving all structural divisions of the Company in the risk management process, as well as through regular exchange of information between the Board of Directors, the Management Board, the Risk Committee and employees of the companies. Training events in the field of risk management are held for employees.
The Company constantly improves the RMS and regularly improves the regulatory and methodological framework for risk management, confirming its commitment to continuous development and improvement in the field of risk management and internal control.
